TC takes 2nd at Crowley meet

The Colony High School powerlifting team attended The North Crowley High School Powerlifting Invitational Feb. 3.
The Cougars competed against teams from Kennedale, North Crowley, Crowley, Everman, Northside, Granbury, L.D. Bell, Cleburne, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, and Dunbar. The Colony took home second place in the team division.
Individual Results
165 weight class: Vinny Williams placed 2nd with a squat of 530, bench press of 250 and dead lift of 550.
181 weight class: Jimmy Chafin placed 4th with a squat of 435, bench press of 250 and dead lift of 420.
198 weight class: Cory Ulshafer placed 2nd with a squat of 530, bench press of 320 and dead lift of 520.
Matt Sidwell placed 8th with a squat of 425, bench press of 275 and dead lift of 440.
220 weight class: Colby Carter placed 2nd with a squat of 485, bench press of 315 and dead lift of 520.
242 weight class: Kenneth Whittacre placed 3rd with a squat of 500, bench press of 300 and dead lift of 515.
275 weight class: Jeremy Wiseman placed 1st with a squat of 545, bench press of 325 and dead lift of 505.
Norman Pietila placed 3rd with a squat of 540, bench press of 275 and dead lift of 445.
Larry Haynie placed 4th with a squat of 500, bench press of 270 and dead lift of 480.
Super Heavy Weights: Travis Briggs placed 2nd with a squat of 700, bench press of 350 and dead lift of 550.
Charlie Wilkinson placed 8th with a squat of 480, bench press of 224 and dead lift of 405.
